Privacy and cookie policy
This policy explains how Soul Treats Bangkok collects and uses personal data under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019). We collect very little: the website has no accounts or database, bookings happen in the chat app you choose, and analytics and advertising cookies run only if you accept them. You can change your choice or use your rights at any time.

Who we are
The data controller for this website and for bookings made with us is Soul Treats Bangkok. We provide in-room and hotel massage in central Bangkok. For any privacy question or request, message us on WhatsApp at +66 92 637 9248 or on LINE at @soultreatsbangkok.
This policy follows Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA). We have also aimed to meet the standards that visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom expect under the GDPR and UK GDPR.
What personal data do we collect?
- Booking messages. When you book, you send us a message on WhatsApp, LINE, Telegram or WeChat. It usually includes your name, your hotel or area, your room number, the treatment, the length, the date, the time and any preferred therapist. The chat app also shows us your phone number or account name.
- The booking form. The form on our website does not send anything to us. It opens WhatsApp on your own device with a message already filled in, and nothing reaches us unless you choose to send that message.
- Anything you tell us about your treatment. If you mention an injury or a health matter so your therapist can adjust the pressure, we use it only for that purpose.
- Website usage data. If you accept cookies, our analytics and advertising tags collect information such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, an approximate location based on your IP address, and whether you reached us through an ad.
- Technical data. Like any website, ours needs your IP address to deliver its pages. It is processed by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and by Google Fonts, which supplies the fonts the site uses.
How do we use your data, and on what basis?
We use what you send us only to arrange, deliver and follow up on your booking, and to answer your questions. Under the PDPA, this is necessary to provide the service you ask for. We keep some booking details for accounting because the law requires it. We use analytics and advertising cookies only with your consent, to see which pages are helpful and which ads bring bookings. We do not sell personal data.
Booking through chat apps
Bookings happen by chat on WhatsApp, LINE, Telegram or WeChat. These apps are run by other companies, and their own privacy policies apply to how they handle your messages and account details. Within our team, booking details are shared only with the people and the therapist who need them to arrange and deliver your session.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare, with no user accounts. We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta Pixel, and these run only after you accept cookies in the cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2: before you give consent, Google's tags run in a cookieless, denied state and set no analytics or advertising cookies.

How can I change my cookie choice?
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to accept or decline at any time. Declining does not stop you browsing or booking. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, which resets your choice. Campaign details kept for your booking message are cleared when your browsing session ends.
Who do we share data with?
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and take bookings: Cloudflare (hosting), Google (fonts, analytics and ads measurement), Meta (the Meta Pixel and WhatsApp), and the companies behind LINE, Telegram and WeChat when you use them to contact us. Some of these providers process data outside Thailand under their own safeguards and privacy policies. We may also disclose data where Thai law requires it.
How long do we keep your data?
We keep booking details from chats only as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet our accounting or legal duties. Analytics data is kept for 14 months, which is the retention setting in Google Analytics 4. Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you change it or clear your site data.
What are my rights under the PDPA?
You have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy of it
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
- ask us to delete your data, or to restrict how we use it
- object to how we use your data
- receive your data in a format you can move to another provider (data portability)
- withdraw your consent at any time, including for cookies, without affecting anything done before
- complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) of Thailand

We may ask you to confirm who you are before acting on a request, and we will reply within the time the law allows. Visitors from the European Union or the United Kingdom can also contact their local data protection authority.
Children
Soul Treats Bangkok is a service for adults, and this website is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy when our website or services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
